back in the 99, Metallica sold the hell out of that park with more than 90,000 ppl aprox.
In 2008 with the first Maiden's show it was like 60,000, in 2009 they were like 45,000-50,000 ppl (with Anthrax+Iron Maiden).

I'll quote something that Scott Ian said about the Simon Bolivar Park when they played here with maiden: "it's like a fucking Hyde Park, but huge!!!!!!!"

And now GN'R will play here in that venue!!! that will be marvelous to see that park sold out again for this gig!!!!!!!!!!!!!

7 y/o. I went along with my uncle (he was the one who introduce me into GNR) and a couple of his friends. But hey at least I was lucky!!! many ppl that day couldn't get inside because it was only one day for two booked shows!! (one was cancelled bc it was the infamous "Caracazo" in Venezuela and the venezuelan cops delayed all the GNR crew and stuff, so the GNR crew couldn't get get all the stage up to the 1st gig)
