Next week the confirmation should be official.
now that Metallica's show are finished, the promotion for GN'R should start, almost now!

estebanf, I guess the argentina dates never come to fruition?

as Gonza said, i really think we can expect a confirmed date tomorrow, now that Metallica's shows are done.

To be honest, im not as desperate as the rest of the argentine fans because I will attend 3 other shows outside argentina.

But it would really be a big kick in the teeth a southamerican tour without argentina

it makes no sense under any point of view. GNR sold out 4 stadium shows in 7 months back in the ninenties.

RG -> Identity mumber
CPF -> Don't know what it is in Argentina, should be translated as Physical Person's Register, maybe someone else can help you here with that.

Ugh... That sucks, esteban. You can't have those unless you're a brazilian citizen. Undecided

RG is your ID, and CPF doesn't exist outside Brazil, as far as I know.

Esteban, can't you ask a member on this forum to get the ticket for you and pay him/ her via PayPal or something? I did that in 2006 when I wanted to see the band in Oslo, Norway. Wink
The person can send you the ticket via registered mail or just give it to you when you meet at the concert.

Will's idea is very good Esteban, try that (I know a lot of people who would love to get that value in paypal credit - me included). I'm not going to Rio and can't buy a ticket for the Rio concert or else I'd help you with that.

You can still try contacting ticketmaster to see if they get you the ticket with your Argentinian ID anyway.

thanks for the help!

but this is just ridiculous! so you got to be brazilian to buy tickets?

Ticketmaster Brazil didn't asked me to fill those fields, but it redirects me to fucking TF4, where those things are required.

There's an equivalent for that in argentina, but its not required at any site!

I wrote to ticketmaster AND t4f yesterday, in english and in portuguese (thanks to tice), but no reply yet.

Well, they sell tickets by phone too.

Maybe if you try and explain that via phone they could find a way to sell that to you.

Which show do you want to attend? Sao Paulo?

Cool.  Cool   Thanks.  Smiley

Because to those of us who can only read English, that appeared it was saying something like "no show for GNR"

Ok.

Fans on queue to to guarantee presence at Guns N' Roses' concert
North american band will play at Gigantinho in March.

The queue to buy tickets for the Guns N' Roses' show - that will happen at Gigantinho, on March 16th - called atention at capital's downtown.

The crowd extended from the selling point, the store Multisom  at Pra?a da Alf?ndega, till the corner of Rua dos Andradas with General C?mara. The tickets started to sell at 11h of this monday.

The first fan in line arrived at 1am this morning. A 10 hours waiting to have the first ticket for Guns n' Roses was just the begining of the queue marathon that Michel Poloni would have to submit. Since 1am of yesterday, the designer positioned himself with a beach chair in front of Pra?a da Alf?ndega's Multisom. At 11h, behind him, several people dressed up in character were shaping the queue as a black line crossing the square to Rua General C?mara. From there, Poloni would go to another queue: at Parque Condor, waiting for Metallica.

Poloni can be the synthesis of what it is Porto Alegre's agenda in this beginning of the year: Metallica, Guns N' Roses and Dream Theater, all on so short period of time, already created a mix of euphoria with revolt:

? A show like this only happens in Porto Alegre once in your life and another when you're dead. And, when it happens, they do them all at the same time? Who lost is the public ? says the designer about Drean Theater's date, the same as Guns', on March 16th.

On the crowd gathering behind Poloni, less anxious people ? at Downtown since 2h or 3ham ?, solitary fans, entire families and recently arrived from vacations took the line to the other side of the square before the begining of the sales. It wasn't just the belief that the fun of the show starts on the line:  Multisom is the only selling point where there's no convenience charge tax, 20% of the ticket's price.

? Imagine, it's at least R$ 26 more ? complained Matheus Teixeira, 22 years old.

The company responsable for the Guns N' Roses show in Porto Alegre, H4 Entretenimento explains:

? This (Multisom) is Guns' official point. The other ways to buy the tickets (on the internet, by phone or at Fnac's) are the steady Ticketmaster's selling points. It's a Ticketmaster's tax ? says Mateus Possebon, from H4.

And, given the greatness of the first concert of Guns in Porto Alegre, wasn't it the case of opening more than one selling point without the convenience charge?

? Acctually, there are 10 points in just one. The producer thinks it's safer and more feasible to concentrate 10 ticket windows on one place? answered Possebon.

Sorry for the typos. No time to check them!  ok
