Just to settle the argument about the Palestra Italia Stadium in S?o paulo, it has 28,599 capacity according tho this site which I found to be pretty accurate:

Obviously that is counting capacity for soccer games (seats) not including the use of the field as a floor for concerts. I think it fits more 30,000 people in the field so total capacity is around 60,000. 

You have to subtract the seats behind the stage, so that might leave around 50,000..

edit: sorry didn't see that there were no seats there... nevermind. 

Exactly, and also the stage is set off the field, it doesn't take up space from it. But official numbers say there were 40,000 people at the Maiden concert and who was there say that it was totally packed. So maybe the floor doesn't really fit 30,000 people. We should forget this subject, it's not really important except for those who are trying to calculate how many people will fit in the VIP floor area.

Palmeiras' own website. It says the capacity is 32,000 - for football matches, of course. I have no idea how it would be for concerts and stuff. It also has a "video tour" around the stadium.

32.000 for footbal matches. So that means at least 40.000, 45.000 for concerts? I think so...

ohh yeaaah I forgot that there's no seats behind in a part of the stadium, so the stage don't need to "eat" a part of the field.

The tickets for Metallica concert has been on sale since november and today (january 15th) there's no official word of a GNR show in Bogota.
None of the big newspapers has say anything yet.
I think this is a bad sign.
