Yes, it is, Jarmo... BUT, it's kinda tricky to get there...

You have two options: either you cross the city (I'm thinking GN'R and/or foreign fans will be downtown for hotels) through a number of confusing streets and avenues OR you drive to the suburbs, get off of Porto Alegre, take a highway to drive around town and enter to the city again through this way your link pointed.

I'd be more than glad to host you guys and show you around/drive you/give directions when you're here.

Jarmo, are you coming to Porto Alegre?

well,porto alegre was sold out,but now,with venues changed,there are more 5000 tickets.
