There are 76 confirmed deaths already, let's pray that number don't raise, i live very far from the disaster area but i feel sad in the deep of my heart, i know a lot of people in central and south zone and i haven't any news of them.

Im EXTREMELY happy to know Rio will be hosting the next world cup after southafrica and the olympic games. I will try to attend both (count me in for sure for the World Cup... i have to see Messi holding the world cup for his SECOND time there closely peace )

Just a correction: the world cup is hosted by the country, not a city alone.  Wink

On Rio: It's true that the city has  lot problem, including violence. But there are also millions of people living there pretty well. I'm not saying everything is okay there, but it's just another big city with big city problems. So tourists must be carefull and that's all. The same for New York, Buenos Aires, London or Los Angeles.

On Chile: just read the earthquake there was worse than Haiti. Actually, that area had the strongest earthquake on history (9,5). The country has a better structure, but the damages are many and I hope our friends there are okay. The show can be placed somewhere else, not the people. Let's pray for them.

Parque Jaime Duque

Exactly, where play GN'R ?

 Huh

Right there!
The venue "Parque Simon Bolivar" had a lot of problems related with permissions and other unmentioned things by the promoter, so they had to change the venue to "Parque Jaime Duque" outside Bogota.

I saw The Killers at that park back in November. Its an amusement park , its really old . http://www.cvltvre.com/mod/cvltvre_events/thumbnail.php?id=20037  and not designed for concerts of course. The ground level goes downwards as you get further away from the stage. so people in the back will barely see shit.. Its much smaller than simon bolivar and its basically used for medium bands like, Killers, Moby and electronic festivals.. Fits like 20.000 I d say.    Wonder if prices will be the same..

I work at a Brazilian News website. Please, if anyone has any contact with people in Chile, send me a PM. I'm trying to catch some witness of this awful earthquake.

Finally, the important thing is that GNR will be in Bogot?, no matter where. I have never been in a concert at the Parque Jaime Duque. I saw Metallica in 1998 and Iron Maiden in 2008 in the Parque Simon Bolivar and I really couldn?t see anything. I have been in concerts at the "Estadio el Camp?n" and at the "Coliseo el Camp?n" and I have been able to see and to listen very well. By the way Korn is goning to present at the Coliseo el Campin in April. Well, anyway, Axl I will wait you on march 30th in anywhere.

RIP!

First Haiti, now Chile, and there are tsunamis on the way to Hawaii.
If it continues like this, I don't think it will be hard to happend a armageddon in 21st December 2012.

No way. Worst devasted areas happened in other cities, no Santiago where GNR will perform. Besides, show is on March 22th. Enough time to get up.
