Jesus I aint posted here in yonks. Yea the guy that has it was called Velvet2323 on these boards. His real name is Scott Hopkins. He used to (or maybe still does) work for MTV. He sent me screenshots of everything rare he has of gnr about 4 years ago. He even had dvd menus for them, which looked pretty proffesional. My guess is the stuff is straight from the vaults at MTV. Personally I'm more interested in the 30 minutes of Ritz 88 rehearsal footage he has. Oh and he's the guy that accidentally released CBGBs proshot. I think it was a deal that went bad or something and he ended up getting fucked over. Which was good for all us cuz we got to see the show!! When I talked to him last, he still wanted house of blues. I seriously doubt if anyone is hoarding that show. If they are I would doubt if they even know it. But yeah I think he also accepted money. But it was like $900 or sumthing stupid. Hope this helps!! Would love to see anything rare of gnr surface!  |

Everybody can say whatever they want, as long as the the MTV rehearsals footage or whatever it is isn't shared to all gunners out there, to me it doesn't exist and I don't give a crap about a thing kept amongst 2 or 3 people. These tapes/ DVDs/ whatever won't follow them in the after world. It's just a live show...I don't understand these people.
As for the CBGB's, it's a one cam shot yes, but it's pretty cool, especially the signings/ interviews session after the show!
