@Bodhi, surprised you listed MCR. I wont pretend i dont loathe them but out of interest. Why do think Black Parade is one of the best (in rock) of the 00's. And what are your thoughts on MCR returnin to their earlier sounds with their new album soon to be out?

i just like the songwriting on it..its a very complete record and doesnt fall in any type of particular genre.  When that thing came out it was an event, at least here in Jersey.  MCR is from the same neighborhoods as me, we literally see them when we go to the local diner or bookstore just hanging out, so the hometown pride probably helped me squeak them on the list ahead of Buckcherry who is a close number 11 on this list.  I also think it will be cool to hear them go back to their original sound...no need to make "The Black Parade part 2"

"Contraband" the single great workout CD of the 21st century. This has been my go to workout, weightlifting/running CD since it came out. this album is guaranteed to get your adrenaline pumping each and everytime. stand out tracks: STB,DIFTK, Fall to Pieces, Spectacle, Headspace, Dirty Little thing, Slither, YGNR, Set me Free, LTA
it's a great workout album indeed, although i almost always skip YGNR

surprised you ranked kanye west higher then results may vary

Yeah, albums 10-15 could pretty  much be interchangeable.

Kanye's had more of an impact though which gave it the slight nod. It was a colossal part of my life when I felt I was at one of my peaks and the soundtrack to that time.

RMV is awesome but kind of lost some of its luster as years have went by.

other 5 would be

11. Results May Vary
12. Crush
13.Marshall Mathers LP Eminem
14.Aerosmith Just Push Play
15. Loaded "Sick"
16. Prince Planet Earth

The Black Parade is one of my top 10. I don't like previous albums and I particularly do not like the new album, but that was a good one.

Am. Idiot would also feature in my Top 10. Again, very predictable

I would also add Chinese Democracy, I actually prefer this to the Illusion albums, as an album.

Others would include Janes Addicition with 'Strays', Deus with 'Pocket Revolution', the new Billy Talent album despite it's awful mastering, Strokes' 'Is this It', Arcade Fire with Neon Bible.
