Cant believe no one on HTGTH as talked about the new 24 trailer. i didnt even know about it, pick up the sources guys haha.

So the final series it seems. Thoughts, hopes?

It's the final year of Keifer's contract.  And 24 is relatively expensive to produce.  I'm HOPING they do another couple seasons...but I think it's a long shot.

I am so sad its coming to an end. Truly, one of the best TV shows on the 00s.

A classic in my opinion. I hope some day to get all the series on DVD boxsets. Maybe Blue-Ray if im mega lucky.

Don't know how true it is but I heard they're bringing in Freddie Prinze Jr to see how he connects with the fans.  They're hoping he'll be the next main character after Kiefer's contract is up.

IF they did go on without Bauer, I hope they don't decide to kill Jack.  Though Tony's died like 4 times already and he keeps coming back.  Is he "dead" now by the way?  But, I'd like to at least have the off chance that Jack could come back at a moments notice.  The show probably wouldn't be the same without him, but I'd give it a shot.  Are they still thinking about doing a "24" movie?  If so, they'd certainly need Jack for that.

Watching that in the cinemas would absolutely rule hhahaha. Imagine if they did the BEEP BEEP BEEP thing when they do intermissions hahahaha. Everyone would be like NOOOO

Nope, not dead yet.  He was "incapacitated" at the end of day 7 by Jack, before he could kill the big bad boss guy.

I think the "movie" they were planning was what we got last November, on Fox.  I think that was originally supposed to be a theatrical release, but when the writers strke occurred, and the previous season got canned....they nixed it in theaters and just went with TV/DVD release.

Personally i wanted Jack to shoot tony. I think it would of been more climatic because Jack wouldnt of wanted to do it, or protect that bad guy, but he would of had no choice.

I disliked the last episode of season 7, didnt feel like it had finished.

Fair enough. It was a pretty good episode i guess...but if it was ment to be a movie, id of liked more action and pyrotechnics haha!
