Not saying GN'R should cover this but I think Lovin' Spoonfuls "Summer in the City" would be a cool seg-way to WTTJ.Sought of like what they did pre-show during the UYI tour and what they did more recently w/ the Exorist III clip prior to WTTJ. They could have some cheesey or dark clip of the local city or any city, filmed like the Garden video playing on the jumbo-tron, than the guitar riff for WTTJ would kick in either through out the song as a tease or suddenly.

anything is possible, but  assume that jungle will be the opener for the tour

Good point Jarmo..But I still think it works..The current/upcoming months are as opposite/contradicting to summer as GN'R/WTTJ is to Lovin' Spoonful/Summer in the City..Summer in the City sends a cheery and poppy message where as WTTJ is sinister and dark...It would be like many sci-fi movies or cartoons where it begins w/ a nice warm scene than a cloud or spaceship hovers over casting a sense of doom..

I'm not really sure what the thinking behind picking a pre-show opener is but I would just love to hear me some "Poet" by Sly & The Family Stone.

If the pre-show opener should somehow tie in with the actual opening song in some way/shape/form, "Stand!" sorta does that theme-wise with Chinese Democracy.

i think it'll be the mood intro to CD that's on the album.  i don't think there's a minute of music ever composed that builds more anticipation.
