Sebastian's great guy and very funny to listen to. Axl's interview with Baz @ Eddie Trunk was hilarious

I second that one! Those two know how too have fun together. They are just like brothers hanging out.

Loyalty is fantastic, and I hope that it played some part in Baz coming on board for the tour.
But I don't really care, because I don't know about the rest of you, but I was blown away by how much Baz fucking rocks! He kicked my ass opening for Guns in Everett last time around.
He's the perfect set up for Guns. I'm pumped, I just hope there will be an extended N. American Leg so I can go see.
Co-sign. I saw Axl n Roses on Halloween night in 2006 in Jacksonville (wow, does not seem like 3 yrs ago- Axl came out with devil horns on) and was expecting so-so from Bas's band and it was really amazing actually.... his band was tight, the crowd was NUTS for them, and he sang like a million bucks, ALL the Skid Row hits, it was great. Then Papa Roach came on and it was popcorn and beer time and an overall deflation of the arena (no joke), although some definitely were into Papa Roach and crowded the front of the stage, it was a distinct letdown from Bas... they really should've been flip-flopped, Papa Roach opens and Bas before Guns woulda been better order.
Axl rocked that night too, for about 2/3 of the set, then his voice gave out bad near the end and he was struggling, but the music still tied everything together. It was their first US show after a small break from Europe or SA (can't remember) and they really came out firing on all cylinders, think that's why Axl blew it out. Overall an amazing night of music, and I really hope some US dates get announced soon.... U canucks are lucky! The first shows of the tour are the most sketchy sound and set-wise, but they usually have the most insane energy from the crowd and the band.
the first show of the US leg tour/2006 was in Sunrise, Florida, and I was there, I agree bout Sebastian was amazin, and i really liked P Roach, never was into them but they did a great show, IMO, and Axl was on top of his voice, I like Baz opening again, hope he will do for the US shows. Wonder if Axl will sing one of his songs with him, like Back in the saddle, or Stuck inside, i doubt it but that would be cool.

Actually, you're right.... I forgot about that. The Jax date WAS the first date scheduled, and they postponed it like 4 days before it was to happen and pushed it back to halloween... they also changed the entire seating for the floor, so I refunded my 3rd row ticket from stubhub and got a general for a 3rd of the price. I knew it was trouble when I got a vmail from ticketmaster... "Important information regarding an event...." I had planned to go to HHN! LOL Good ol Axl!! Always makes it interesting! It was really an amazing, memorable night tho... I'll see them again when they come through, no doubt. And yes, I saw VR on the Contraband tour too at the HOB. Equal opportunity Guns fan!

Rose Tattoo on the other hand had everyones respect and rocked in a non try hard way.....the real deal compared to a mouth.

Color me corny I guess. Baz said something similar to this at the Everett, WA show that I saw, and I gotta admit that I loved it.
Except it went like this...(paraphrasing)
"ARE YOU GUYS READY FOR GUNS AND FUCKING ROSES!!! IT'S 2007 AND MUSIC IS IN A SAD STATE, BUT FOR ONE NIGHT AT LEAST....ROCK AND ROLL IS BACK MOTHERFUCKERS!!!!"
I thought it was great. To this day, I think about that moment, and how much I felt what he was saying. Guns will always be signifigant to me because to me they are the last great American rock band. And to me, on that night it really did feel like rock and roll was back, and I was glad I was there to see it.

I love Baz's emotion. I hope he is in shape for this tour and doesn't get out of breath so much. He can still sing when he isn't tired!

well he twittered (twat) the other day that he was going to run to the hollywood sign and that it'd take 2 hours, so either he was in real good shape running for 2 hours or he was in awfully bad shape taking so long time
since he's always running i'm thinking it's the first one

This is really sweet! I love Baz's exuberance for GN'R, Axl and for his homeland Canada. That's so nice to see!!!!
He's obviously very grateful for his long friendship with Axl and the uncompromising loyalty and code of honor that Axl brings to everything and everyone.
That's so refreshing to see in a celebrity like Mr. Rose. Not all celebrities are concerned with loyalty, honor and friendship.
I would really LOVE LOVE LOVE to see Axl and Baz perform "Sorry" live and any or all of their songs from Baz's album -- "Back In The Saddle", "(Love Is) A Bitchslap", & "Stuck Inside"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That would be seriously cool!!!!! Wow, all of these cool pieces of news coming out, first the tour, then the VIP packages, now Baz touring with GN'R, it's like an early Christmas for GN'R fans!!!

The Axl+ Baz merge worked great on Angel Down.
-On ChiDem Baz is a bit too low in the soundmix for Axl to "stick out".
Would be so fucking cool if they did stuck inside, god I love the way Axl comes in on that song.

i wish baz could give loyalty lessons to the other people in the music industry. if everyone had a heart as pure and honest and loyal as baz does, maybe axl would release more albums.
baz is great and loyal, but him opening shows for guns speaks volumes about the loyalty of Axl. it shows that Axl has his priorities in order. cause lets be honest, there are a number of acts that would attract more fans as the opener. which would benefit guns in the long run. but like i said, axl puts loyalty to a friend over all that.
baz is a good guy, but axl has done alot for him professinally and financially. i wouldn't say it's an act of loyalty to accept an incredible opporutnity that has been handed to you.
LOL... well obviously baz ain't axl. axl wrote the book on loyalty. but baz is a great disciple.
falungong you are one of the (many) reasons I come to this site!
if baz makes axl somewhat more comfortable I am up for it!
