Guns N' Roses can play in Brazil in 2010
A producer from Minas Gerais says that the band is under negotiation




Guns N' Roses can play in Brazil in 2010, according to the producer from Minas Gerais, "Malab Produ??es" said to the "O Estado de Minas" newspaper.

The band would be under negotiation with brazilian producers to the realization of some concerts in Brazil, performing in many cities, including Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and probably Belo Horizonte.

This performances would be part of a world tour that Axl?s band is going to make to, at last, publicize Chinese Democracy, who was launched one year ago without a videoclip or any kind of concert to promote the album.

The same producer said that other artists are under negotiation to play in Brazil in 2010, as Paul McCartney and Beyonc?.

When a promoter says they're negotiatin with GNR, they become the topic. 
If some promoter has power to bring GNR, it's Time 4 Fun, they are really in advanced negotiations.
But other promoters spread rumors every week. I don't know if they're realt or not, but almost always, the're false.

the fact is: Brazil has A LOT OF fans' of Guns N' Roses in every big state, and believe: if Guns N' Roses make a gig in every big state of our country, it?ll be SOLD OUT in every single place!

based on this fact, every time a promoter appear with a rumor like this, it?s impossible to us control the excitement.

well, we have to wait the confirmation of this rumor, but all brazilian fans would be very happy if this rumor become true!

I posted the same source (I mean, the promoter) in the Asian tour thread a couple of months ago. The thing is: as long as the big news sites keep posting this as a big story, they will do it. I work in one of the big sites and we chosed to not post anything regarding this rumor in particular because this is just a self-promoting shit for now.

It's really just one promoter who wants to catch any big act (he mentioned earlier Metallica, Madonna...). Still, people don't realise how there were many promoters doing the same in the past few years.

I mean, take a look at the Canadian tour. There were no promoters "leaking" negotiations with the band. Why would they, anyways? They just put the announcement teaser and then the dates came from several sources, not only one promoter.

IMHO, we (Brazilians) should stop this rumor by not spreading it.

I would assume that by making these alleged negotiations public that they would expect it to put pressure on GN'Rs management to sign the dotted line.  It hasn't worked yet.  Don't know why these promoters keep getting the Brazilian fans' hopes up by announcing things like this prematurely...
