That's cool, but I kind of agree it seems a bit pricey, for me at least. Though that's easy for me to say since I don't live in Canada. If this was offered more within my geographical range I may have a tough time turning it down. Hell I paid over $200 to see Van Halen on their last tour and had seats in the second tier.

well i'd do it, but my friends aren't as big of fans as i am (+ i know they, like myself are gonna barely have enough $$$ 4 the tickets & hotel fees let alone this kind of package!) ... so i'll just stick with GA & wait out in the cold 4 a spot up front!

I'm sure Axl would drop in on a few of them. I would love to pay 295.00 if they offer them in the states.

I don't think it is great for GA it might get you a better shot at the rail but dosn't mean you will stay at the rail. to get within the first 8 rows closest to the stage I think it is not a bad deal plus you get in early can shop before everyone. The price is not that bad compared to many other shows. However this option would mean 1 show VS going to both of them and that is just not worth it. I would rather go to both shows.

That is not being promoted so I would not expect it.

In other words, doesn't that mean you get to enter before the rest of the ticket holders?
/jarmo
exactly, this is something Metallica does for their fan club members...They are allowed to enter the arena 2 hours before everyone else...It is awesome to see GNR now going this route as well..

Yeah but $300???!!!
Someone is really trying to shit on the idea. If you aren't fond of it, don't get it. Don't shit on everyone else's goodtime.
I would buy it if I didn't work for the band.

Is there a possibility of getting this in the future concerts, in Europe for instance?

Sure but then we most likely have to pay 295 Euros...just a slight difference of 120 euros......
Oh well, perhaps i'm going to see a show in NY again...and then i might pay those extra $$, just so i don't have to wait in line and run for a good spot at front
...lazy me

Fernando,
I am not shitting on everyone else's good time. I have already said that if people want to do it then, good on them and I hope they enjoy it. All I was saying was that people need to research the offer and what it actually involves before spending $300 which is a fair amount of money for most people. Tickets and offers are all about choice.

For those of you getting on a high horse about how "expensive" this is, please remember that groups like Poison & Tesla charge between $500 and $700 for this type of thing and people like Bon Jovi and Van Halen charge between $1000 and $1500

I'd use that money to go and see the band in some other city. But I think this is great for those who want to be sure to get to the first row..

The way I see it, this is my favorite band, and will be the second time I have traveled out of the country to see them, I am going to take complete advantage of this offer, nothing could dissapoint me at this point, it is pure adrenaline from here on out, besides we are driving so I don't have to consider airfare this time around, so why the heck not, besides as I have previously mentioned the Montreal show on the 27th is my 20th wedding anniversary, and I can't think of a better way to celebrate. Thanks GNR, for such a fine offer
.
I believe we paid around $700 a piece for front row center stage ticks when they toured in 06 for the Reno show that got cancelled twice, dissapointing they cancelled, but for the album to be finished, I am satisfied it was for good reason, but I am a front row hog when it come to these guys, can't help myself, I will pay$$$$$ lol.

And some can only see one show no matter what.... You know, they might just be busy.

I think I would pay for it for one show, just to do it. And if they were seats and not GA. Every GA show I've been too, I don't show up until like 10 and I've never had a problem getting to the front. Plus, band or no band, it would be pretty kick ass to get a backstage tour.

Anyone else notice that they are no longer offering bowl seating? This is exclusively GA Floor Standing ticket now? Is it just me or did they take away regular seating?
