Is anyone else from the UK (or Europe) planning on going to the Canada shows? Or am I the only one crazy enough to think about doing it??!

For those of you that live locally (or who otherwise know Montreal and Toronto better than I do i.e you have been at least once),  I am thinking of getting a seat (floor now sold out I believe) to the Toronto show and a ticket (Floor if possible) to the Montreal show.

I would be travelling down via coach from Montreal to Toronto on the 28th to catch a second show in as many days. Am I crazy ??!- cost isn't an issue but is it do-able or am I going to freeze to death in the Canadian wilderness?

I mean if Jarmo can sleep overnight in a Derby bus shelter, I can traverse Canada in a day...

Comments appreciated guys

GREG

yes its possible to do it Greg.  Its gonna be around a 6-8 hour bus ride from Montreal to Toronto.  Depending on how often that bus stops.  As for freezing to death.... your more likely to in Montreal, its WAY colder due to a higher latitude, then Toronto.  Although those french girls are hot!

I must say though, you really need to check out an atlas man...traverse Canada in a day HAHAHAHAHAHA hihi peace

I was I could afford more then just one show.  I have the option of three shows all within a 2 hour radius, Hamilton, London, Toronto.  Although, I wasn't impressed with the sound at ACC in 06.  London was a much better show and arena.  I'd say get a ticket for that show if you can.  Even Hamilton is better.

I would just like to add that if you are going to the Montreal show, the Toronto show could be risky as it's the very next night. Anything can go wrong that could cause you to miss the second show with such a tight time frame. It's totally possible but if you are spending THAT much I'd recommend one of the later shows just to make sure (and get to see a bit of Montreal while you are at it.) I'm originally from the UK myself before I moved to Canada and have to say, before I came over here I really didn't grasp the enormity of the country.. I knew it was big but didn't realise you could fit the whole of the british isles into it many times over. So travelling across canada by bus in a day would be impossible (and the cost of flying within canada is stupid expiensive.)

It would be nice to have the guys come back from the Canadian Tour and perform at the Grammy's!!

I still think it would be a great idea to perform on TV a couple times in America to get people interested.  People need to know who is in this great band!

This seating chart is for Colisee Pepsi Arena, seems pretty detailed. The stage looks quite deep as well.

It's not bad advice.

But you have to consider that the band and gear also must make that trip....

Guns N' Roses Stage Design Revealed For Canadian Tour

From diagrams surfacing on various ticket and venue sites, it appears elusive rockers Guns N' Roses will use a fairly deep stage with three catwalks when the band brings its Chinese Democracy World Tour to Canada in early 2010. The three extrusions coming from the main stage are becoming a bit more common with major tours - so much so, that Iron Maiden have nicknamed the catwalks "Ego Ramps." There is no indication that this stage design will be used in Asia.

I am not sure if that is correct I think that might be from the 1993 shows they played.

It's the same chart that Spirit has posted a few posts above, they are just commenting on it.  Do you mean that the ticket and venue sites have it wrong?

Didn't somebody already point out that the stage diagram was just a default one for end stage setups?

I didn't see that, if that's true, then we don't know.  You'd think they would have an accurate chart?

I'd love to see a new stage this tour...however, something tells me we'll see the same or a similar stage show to 2006

That was me, for the Copps Coliseum stage diagram - it has the wings as well, and it's just the generic diagram from the Copps website. It's one of two from that article. The other is from the arena in Quebec City (Colisee Pepsi) and I have no idea what they're basing it on. There aren't a lot of shows coming up to cross reference there, and I couldn't find any default diagrams on their site.

Yeah I was looking for that too... Spirit where did you find that seating chart?

This seating chart is for Colisee Pepsi Arena, seems pretty detailed. The stage looks quite deep as well.
