Things are starting to get interesting.  In a silly way, I am more interested in this than when CD was released.  Probably because of the leaks and the fact that for me personally, music is just that much better live and raw.

Just remind me people....what round are we in now?

These are dates for 'Guns & Roses':

http://www.ticketmaster.ca/Guns-Roses-tickets/artist/1375602

Not sure if this is another band, does anyone know? (Both Guns N' Roses and Guns & Roses are listed on ticketmaster, could it be a mix-up?)

Anyway, here's the venue: http://www.tocentre.com/index.cfm?id=15223

If it's the real GNR, it looks like warm-up shows.

no way are GNR going to do 4 straight dates.  I am guessing those dates have been blocked booked and idea is that one of those days will have a show

This is seriously excellent, excellent news.  Hope it's the start of a North American tour announcement, but either way, I'll gladly fly up to Canada for this!  Already excited. yes

Hammerstein New York in 2006 was four shows in five days, right?

yep and name me another point at the tour where they did 4 straight shows, one after the other.  Hey I hope to god this is true but I would be suprised if they did this.  Especially using Toronto as a place for warm up shows.

Just read a bit on the venue website...

The Studio Theatre has 200 seats...

The Main Stage Theatre has 1700 seats.

Ticketmaster says Studio Theatre, so I would rule out 'the real' GN'R if the date information is correct.

Found this on Ticketmaster (if you click on "Find Tickets")... Fuck you guys for getting me psyched for a second at the thought of 4 Toronto warm-up shows:

Produced by the Original Norweigian. Written and Directed by Julian De Zotti. Guns & Roses is a fast-paced theatrical experience for a new, vibrant, media-savvy generation of theatre-goers. The play deals head-on with issues right out Toronto's headlines: drug (ecstasy) use and abuse, sexuality, violence at school and at home, racism - and that's to start. Rather than sentimentalizing or sugar-coating the high school experience, Guns & Roses uses authentic, shocking, contemporary dialogue and situations to portray the lives of five teenagers about to make some life-altering choices. Through use of projections & video (through which the characters send text messages, play video games etc.) and a live DJ (who creates a live music/sound scape) - Guns & Roses is a relevant piece of contemporary theatre using various forms of modern storytelling.

Man, they picked their timing to announce that play!  How funny!
Seriously excited for Canada at this point though!   ok
