SIXX: A.M.: 'This Is Gonna Hurt' Video Released - Aug. 17, 2011

"This Is Gonna Hurt", the new video from SIXX: A.M. ? the band consisting of Nikki Sixx (also of M?TLEY CR?E), DJ Ashba (also of GUNS N' ROSES) and James Michael ? can be seen below. The song is the title track of the group's sophomore album, "This Is Gonna Hurt", which sold 30,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to land at position No. 10 on The Billboard 200 chart. Released on May 3, the 11-track CD is a companion piece to Sixx's "This Is Gonna Hurt: Music, Photography And Life Through The Distorted Lens Of Nikki Sixx" book, a follow-up to his New York Times bestseller, "The Heroin Diaries".

SIXX: A.M. ALREADY WORKING ON THIRD ALBUM

Nikki Sixx, who doesn?t appear to have a moment of downtime thanks to the fact that he pulls double duty in both Motley Crue and Sixx: A.M. and writes books, posted a Facebook update to share some good news about Sixx: A.M. The group is already writing its third album and is possibly eyeing a 2013 release.

The band is still knee deep in promoting its latest, No. 1 single spawning album, ?This is Gonna Hurt,? but that isn?t stopping the guys from keeping their eyes on the future and keeping the creative juices flowing.

Here is something that is not a rumor?SixxAM is already at work writing for the 3rd SixxAM Album.Probably a 2013 release considering the body of work were setting as a goal?We will be doing a proper video for the next single soon?..Tour options keep coming but we haven?t found the right fit yet to open up the conversations?..Keep you all posted?.Night??

I never listened to the entire first album, but thought "This Is Gonna Hurt" was a great album.  Loved a majority of it, which is saying something these days.

SIXX: A.M.: 'Are You With Me' Video Available - May 24, 2012

Earlier this month, rock band SIXX: A.M. ? which consists of bassist Nikki Sixx, guitarist DJ Ashba and vocalist James Michael ? announced its support of City Of Hope through an initiative designed to help raise money for research, treatment and education for the fight against cancer, diabetes and HIV/AIDS. Joining other celebrities such as Ryan Seacrest, Vince Gill and Sugarland in their support of City Of Hope, SIXX: A.M. offered their new music video for "Are You With Me Now" exclusively to the charity.

The clip, which was previously only viewable by fans who made a donation to City Of Hope, can now be seen below.

Sixx A.M is really nailing it so far with the new stuff. 

A real band tries to do something new every record that they haven't done before.  It doesn't have to be reinventing the wheel musically but it should always be something that THEY themselves haven't done before,  Sixx A.M is doing just that with the new stuff, all 3 single they have put out all sound different.  Really good stuff!

I'm lovin the 4 songs put out so far! "Gotta Get It Right" took some time but it's grown on me. "Stars" is a great song! They covered The Cars' song "Drive" and did a super cool version of it...and the latest song they released just today called "Let's Go" is the best Sixx AM song out of all 3 albums! A straight ahead kick ass rock anthem with an awesome guitar solo by DJ. Can't wait to hear the rest of the album!
