I saw it and it did suck, there wasnt as much russell brand as there was last year which also sucked. And Kayne is a dick for what he did, maybe at his next show he should dedicate "Heartless" too himself. Also i couldnt stop laughing at these fucking horrible clothes lady gaga was wearing  i just wanted to reach into the tv and slap that bitch around for wearing such stupid outfits.

Am I the only one that thinks the Kanye thing might have been staged?

... Taylor Swift is waiting backstage ready to come out in an instant when Beyonce calls on her and they are both wearing red dresses?  Like someone said above, it's almost a "gimmick" that something shocking happens at the VMAs.  Kanye's outburst has people talking about the show, without that... you're basically left with Lady Gaga's blood performance which isn't nearly enough controversy.  They also staged that whole Bruno thing at the movie awards where he landed on Eminem with his ass in his face and played it off like Eminem was really pissed off.  They got a great reaction out of that, why not do it again with a typical Kanye award show outburst?

Anyways, even if it was real and Kanye was actually being that much of a dick.... Doesn't it seem odd that he said "Beyonce made one of the greatest videos of all time" and she ended up winning Video of the Year?  Furthermore, how do you lose "Best Female Video" and win "Video of the Year"?  If Kanye was being serious........ he was actually spot on in his criticism.  He acted like a prick, and that's not the way to complain about it, but doesn't he have a point?

I think this is the second year in a row where Billie Joe has said "play more videos MTV", I agree.
