None of the sellers on Yahoo Japan are willing to send me my winning ticket to the UK but won't tell me why.

Anyone here know why that might be? Pisses me off cause I am willing to pay more than the ticket face value but I still can't buy one!

Generally speaking, the language barrier is a huge problem in Japan. Also, payment method is an issue. Most sellers won't accept Paypal, which means wire bank transfers, and fees on both ends (potentially). Of course, sellers want none of that.

As someone who regularly goes to Japan and has to put up with all that shit to get concert tickets, I say : don't bother. If you don't have a personal contact in Japan, you're most likely fucked. Pia, Lawson and the like won't even let you go through the registration process if you can't provide them with a valid Japanese address. Also, picking your ticket up at a combini could indeed be a good option, but I believe you have to pay quite a long time in advance, otherwise your reservation is cancelled. And as you might guess, foreign credit cards are not accepted so paying online is a no-no.

For people who are going solely for the shows, my advice would be to try another country, like Taiwan. Maybe the process will be more simple, because Japan, as great a country as it may be,  definitely does not make things easy for foreigners.

As far as I know, most French stores do accept all cards of the Visa/Mastercard type, but then again I've never bought from outside France so I can't really be of much help.

Well, learning English is mandatory in Japanese schools, so yeah, technically they speak English, but the level of interaction you can have in English is actually really mediocre (except for those who go to universities, maybe).  Even the French speak good English compared to them, and that's saying a lot  Grin

But I think we're straying from the original topic here.....

As far as I know many of them don't. And Japanese online shops often don't accept your foreign cards no matter if you're Japanese who speaks japanese or not.  hihi ebay jp loves paypals.

Good idea. It's easier to have a clear picture of who's going to what show(s) if people are listed there.

I have no clue you dont think Axl will not play any of the old songs after this tour I dont think thats the case but still it would be scary without those classics

i wish there was a way that axl could keep clowns like that woman from using pictures of the old band when talking about gnr and the chinese democracy tour.  those guys didn't have anything to do with creating this amazing music or the tour -- if anything, they've stood in the way of it.  so it's completely unfair for them to get to promote themselves through association.
