I also got tickets, again not nearly as good as Ayako, who knows maybe i'll be sitting close to you suntorytime!   Blowing all my savings on tickets and airfare may not be the smart thing to do , but fuck it it's GNR !!!!
That's awesome!  Where are you flying from?  Hope it all goes according to plan.

Good on you bud,

Wish I could do the same.

I'm in the Uk and just couldn't afford it. Up to my eyeballs in debt already...

I just hope the ChiDem special edition makes its way our way sometime soon to coincide with the tour.

Would really like something new gnr related...

I'm going to have to do that myself. Actually, I'll waiting til they hit somewhere in the East side of the US so I can afford to drive there and back in a day or so.

Jealous? Hardly. Wanting confirmation that this isn't just a promoter trying to sell tickets, is more like it. Don't get me wrong -- I wish them the best of luck and to have a great time. But I mean just freaking CONFIRM or DENY it already!

Younggunner never said anything about waiting for a confirmation. He told dj to wait til guns play the states. Which is pretty fucked up, I mean does he think Gun's would only play great shows in the US?

Whenever there's been a FAKE show being promoted, the GNR camp has ALWAYS let the fans know a.s.a.p. that they were FAKE!!!  (Hungary and Atlanta come to mind.  Plus that recent India show promotion.)

Can plans change?  Of course they can.  But why piss on someone else's parade when, at this moment in time, it seems that all systems are a GO!!!

Jealous? Hardly.

Be honest.  You gotta be just a little bit jealous that you're not gonna be there.

I doubt he was implying anything like that.  From dj's posts he said he was broke but had credit cards.  YG was basically giving him financial advice from what I can read.  hihi

Actually...I can find better things to spend that kind of money on. I personally wouldn't fly to JAPAN to see GNR play a couple shows (if they are even legit). I would fly to Vegas like I did in 06 to see them, maybe California but not that far. I can't imagine what a plane ticket would cost, as well as hotel, and all the other expenses.

I could understand maybe a vacation and then catch a couple GNR shows but I wouldn't fly half-way around the world to just see two/three shows.

My personal opinion however...

As much as I love GNR, I also agree, that unless I had a firm vacation, or plans .. it would be pointless for me to go globetrotting., but IF these shows go off, and happen, I am ecstatic for those who have the chance to see them.

I echo both of your sentiments.

I would love to see GN'R, but I would not survive in Japan.

More power to DJCleaver, I'm happy for him.  All GN'R fans deserve to be happy.  We've suffered a lot, even us younger fans.

To those wondering why this hasn't been officially confirmed yet, relax.

I'm not an insider (!), I just remember how things went down in '06.

These shows IMO will go ahead. GNR are just waiting for arrangements to be set in stone before going public.

Makes perfect sense to me.
