For how long were you gone?
It'll be easier to determine what you've missed.
If you were gone less than five minutes, you didn't miss a lot.

If I was GNR I would wait until all dates were booked (this being the Aisa dates), in the bag, all the i's dotted etc before any official announcement was made.
All far too easy to think that something is done and dusted for it to turn difficult.

That is what they are probably doing. usually they release their announcement/plans when everything is completed and set in stone.
Why confirm/update as each venue is confirmed/rumored. Easier and makes more sense to just wait.

It's crazy to think that it was eight years (93-01) between GNR shows and it will likely be more for S.A.'s next show (2001-2010). I feel bad for those in South America, there's a pretty hardcore fan base down there. Having lived in North American and traveled through Europe at fortunate times I've been able to see them way more than the average fan. Hopefully Axl and the boys will show our South American brethren some love come the new year.
Cheers,
Andrew

NO
The Roxy is just a bad choice for a warmup. They would not be able to set up their big screen TV's (if they are being utilized), there would be no pyro, Axl wouldn't be able to run around on that tiny stage, and there is no way you can get eight guys on there.
Not to mention the orchestra.

Thanks for the news!
It's great for South Korean fans, since the band never played there. This "world tour" looks like an Asian tour right now, but I'm happy for fans over there, and maybe the band will come again to Europe after this.
That being said, I think fans over there should wait until the official announcement on gnr.com before buying tickets, plane tickets, etc.
