Guns N Roses Set Dates For Japan

Guns N Roses will perform in Japan in December.

Two dates have been announced for December 16 in Osaka and December 19 in Tokyo, according to Universal Music?s Japanese site.

The live dates for Guns N Roses are the first official dates for the band since the release of the ?Chinese Democracy? album a year ago this November.

Guns N Roses have not performed one show since the release of the album but performed songs from ?Chinese Democracy? when they were in Australia in June 2007.

The setlist for the Melbourne show on June 15, 2007 was:

Guns play Japan

Guns N' Roses will play a pair of dates in Japan in December, according to reports.

Axl Rose's hard rock veterans are yet to tour their latest record, "Chinese Democracy", which finally came out last year.

The long-awaited follow-up to 1993's "The Spaghetti Incident?" was released in November but was not considered a critical success.

Guns are expected to play:

December 2009

16 Osaka Dome
19 Tokyo Dome

There are unconfirmed reports that they will also perform in *Thailand on December 11.

Would make sense and explain the "stadium tour" rumors.  Instead of hitting all the major cities, have one huge stadium show in each market  (Tokyo, Osaka, London, Rio, Rome, Dublin, Chicago, NY, LA, Boston, Montreal, Toronto etc.) 

Fans will definitely travel for a show of that magnitude, thus getting a bigger, but less strenuous tour event.  Would be very cool this way.
