July 20, 1969 ? The Apollo 11 lunar module landed on the Sea of Tranquillity, where Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin became the first men to walk on the moon six-and-a-half hours later.

I remember "watching" the moon landing as clearly as if it happened yesterday.
What I remember most about "watching" it was that you couldn't really see anything!!! The screen was mostly all dark with like a long triangle-ish shape of "light".
You really couldn't see a fuckin thing!!! It wasn't until like decades later that I actually "saw" it.
