Some of the comments from the people over on mygnr are ridiculous.  I guess they expected DJ to shed light on all the unanswered questions surrounding GNR.  

I'd say we got as much, if not more, than I expected out of him.  He's in the band, he's happy.  That's a good start.

I finally got back in the room, now that it's over.  That room is quite crazy to say the least.  I don't think I would've been able to follow the chat even if I was in there for it.

He's actually still in there, but there's like 30 different rooms and there's a 30 person max to each room.  He was in his bedroom and moved to the main room, which I WAS in but left and now I can't get back in.  So he's chatting but you have to be lucky enough to pick the right room

I asked him if he had a favorite song on Chinese Democracy and he said he loved "This I Love".  And I'm pretty sure he said he'd be ripping up that solo on the song too.  The chat is pretty hard to follow.  But I'm pretty sure that's what happened.

-As regards new material with GnR : "He is recording everyday and that's all he can say for now"

-As regards touring : he is looking forward to it

-As regards Axl : he is the coolest motherfucker around and a great friend

-As regards the people in the band : Axl has gathered some of the best musicians ever and they are all pretty cool people

-As regards our questions : he cannot answer them but they will be all answered, he promises...We just have to stick around and losing hope would "be a mistake"

-As regards his favourite song on ChiDem : This I Love and he will play the solo

I was a bit disappointed because he dodged most questions but I can't say I didn't expect it. It was just a bit hard to swallow at 4 am...
However, if he is really recording for GnR right now, that could be a very, very good thing

I'm actually very happy as this is much more than I had expected from him!!
