Last night on Late Nite With Jimmy Fallon, he announced that the band that gets the most requests on his Twitter account is going to receive an invite from NBC to play on his show. NBC is going to try their absolute hardest to get the winning band to appear. We know Jimmy is a Guns and Roses fans, so let's bomb him with requests for our favorite band. http://twitter.com/jimmyfallon  Spread the word to other boards. |

Guns could play any show they want anytime. All Axl would have to do is pick up the phone and it would be done.
He's not on TV because he doesn't want to be on TV.
You'd be better off voting for your buddy/neighbor's band.

But maybe they don't do it just because it's not in their plans. If this guy calls them and offers the option of playing live some Chinese Democracy song and maybe a friendly interview with Axl, who knows... And also nobody expected the 2006 Eddie Trunk interview back then...  |

this would be a great idea - seeing as the tour was postponed/fell through/ who knows....
the general viewing public could see who's in the band & see how they sound especially since their last glaring image of this band was the 02 VMAs.
plus all that rehearsing gets put to use & then creates awareness around the band.
Who knows, maybe it leads into a tour announcement & eventually the ball rolling in some shape & form!
plus it'd be sick to see Axl talking with Fallon after the performance in a nice little sit down chat

Done it as well. I remember voting for Guns N' Roses when Rock in Rio 3 had a pool... feels like that was just yesterday. It worked then, let's hope it works now. |
