Did Guns release or write the actual the book or someone else?
Apparently, all that "copyright" stuff listed at the bottom of the first page of each song is
ONLY
to show that the publisher/transcribers had permission to use the material.
IT DOES NOT MEAN THAT ANYONE FROM GNR WAS CONTACTED TO VERIFY THE ACCURACY OF WHAT IS PUBLISHED IN THIS BOOK.

Where do live?
I received my copy from musicdispatch like over two weeks ago. I received one copy from amazon last Thursday and amazon sent me the shipping/tracking info for the copy that will be delivered on Monday.
NOTE:
As I mentioned before, even though this book is presented in such a way that it appears to be verified for accuracy by GNR themselves,
the "copyright" info ONLY indicates that the publisher/transcribers had permission to use the material.

I JUST GOT IT!!! Anyone who wants it fast, go with MusicDispatch
The book is thick, very detailed. I am starting with Scraped, and so far it sounds very accurate.
Also, Shackler's is rediculous. The solo is just not gonna happen ahah

I've never seen anyone playing that solo, don't worry about that. The scary part is: Ron himself probably had to re-learn it by ear after two years since he played it... you know, you play a solo and after two years you have to learn it by ear to rehearse with the band.

I think it was Joe Satriana who said that Ron has a photographic memory for music and is able to reproduce anything instantly after hearing it

I don't think it's because it's about guitars (especially since Brain is listed on some song credits). I think it's just those "copyright" laws/rules that have to be followed when you're using someone's stuff like this.

CD, Shacklers, Better, SOD, Catcher, Riad and Prostitute. Quite good for a bad guitarist and composer.

Just got mine from Music Dispatch.
For those who have spent time with the book- which songs are the easiest to quickly get into and annoy the neighbors with?
A lot of the solos would take a lifetime to learn. I shared the book with my guitar teacher, and he was amazed at the creativity and complexity. As he put it, "this is real talent."

Madagascar...but that's a jerk answer.
This I Love? Kinda jerky too.
Sorry is the easiest song as far as a whole song is concerned. Mad = Chords and little tiny fills. TIL = A solo?
