I wish we had one nearby.  They've all shut down...the "big boys" ran them out of business.  In FACT, the people who used to run the last one (Called, incidentally, "The Corner Book Store")...now work for Borders.

I may go down to guitar center and see if they have it. wonder if they sell stuff like this in Barnes and Nobles or Borders....?

I stopped at the one I pass on my way home last night....they didn't have it.  They said they plan on carrying it, but haven't had any show up in the store, yet.

Someone else writes it, so it may not be exactly how the particular guitarist plays it but its as near as you'll get to it!

The ONLY mention of "someone else" is on the bottom of Page One. (like this part isn't a big deal  )
"Music transcriptions by Addi Booth and David Stocker"

Even the Hal Leonard Corporation info is only listed on the bottom of Page One.

The rest of the 230 pages seem to ONLY mention the GNR peoples with song writing credits for each individual song and all the copyright info associated with each song.

And as I've mentioned before, they specify whether it's Ron or Robin or Buckethead's guitar solos they're transcribing.

I finally gave in and canceled my Amazon order, and got it from Musicdispatch with Fedex home deliver.

I wasn't sure about the credibility of this site, but it seems fine and Fedex should hopefully het here next year.

I've ordered stuff before from Music Dispatch and have always found them to be credible and reliable. 

But I also "hedged my bet" and ordered this from Amazon too (especially since Amazon had it for $10 cheaper) and about an hour ago I received this e-mail:

Plus Amazon (and I believe Music Dispatch) gives you the option to cancel anything on back-order prior to its actual shipping out.

Ya Amazon let me cancel no problem. I decided an extra ten bucks was worth it, as I have been waiting since June haha.

I have been tabbing out TWAT for a bit, mostly the solo, but there is so much going on that this book is really going to be a help.

 There is something wrong about it, I ordered it from Amazon when it was listed (October 2009) , it is still waiting, I ordered it from a1books , and a1 sent backorder email...I ordered from musicdispatch I got the same backorder email? GypsySoul has it though

I ordered it on the 3rd i believe, and I just got an email (on the 5th) that said it has shipped. Maybe try again?

Also, I used FedEx normal, so hopefully I get it soon!

Mine was shipped on 5 th too Gonzo Axl  ,   I used Fedex home delivery..and I finally received it   2 days with fedex home delivery

Sandrine, I think you will get it after 12 January 2010, I first ordered it from amazon.com on 14 October 2009(when it was first listed) Today I looked it and it turned shipping soon you can't cancel item..etc message...so I think you will get it soon

 btw: It is very accurate  and long 240 pages, 2lbs, and you can see a lot of detailed info about guitars

Unfortunately I ordered it in July on amazon.fr (France) I just checked and they have no info on delivery date
