From what i can tell Twitter doesn't count repeat posts exactly the same. This may be why you aren't seeing those specific posts.

You are better off to pick at least two songs and switch it up every post.

i think you'll need to go into your account and empty your "updates" one by one. i think 60 is the limit. once you reach it, you cant tweet any more.
when you delete them, youll be ready to go again.
