"You're an idiot"

WWW
« on: June 10, 2009, 12:34:06 PM »

It's AOL Radio's Twitter Request Day and starting at noon ET, any song that anyone requests on Twitter will go on a Twitter Radio station (launching tomorrow). If we have it, we'll play it. All anybody needs to do is tweet: Artist/Band, Song Title  #aolradiorequest

If you simply have a Twitter account, all I hope for you to do is simply make a song request between noon and midnight tonight using the format I mentioned earlier.

It seems simple enough to get the new GN'R tracks heard on AOL radio.

Thanks Chris for the heads up.

ON TOPIC:  I've never used Twitter.  Is there a way to put in requests without having an account yourself?  Like through an AOL twitter page or something??  Huh

Quick, people quick!

http://www.aolradioblog.com/2009/06/09/aol-radio-all-tweet-song-request-radio-station/

"Today (Wed. June 10th) from 12 pm ET until midnight ET, announce your request by tweeting the artist/band name, song title and hashtagging it with #aolradiorequest

Examples
Madonna, "Like a Prayer" #aolradiorequest
Led Zeppelin, "Stairway to Heaven" #aolradiorequest

Request as many songs as you want during the time window tomorrow. If we have it, we'll add it to the Tweet Request station on aolradio.com starting tomorrow, June 11th, for one week!"

wish people would concentrate on CD songs. we hear the old stuff on the radio a bunch anyway.

lets get some CD songs on there.

seriously, all it takes is for a few thousand to hear one song they like and it could start something.

my fault, I was commenting on requests that were coming in. A lot of the requests are for Jungle, Scom, YCBM etc on the AOL thing and I wish those people would concentrate on CD songs.

You can't expect every GN'R fan to try to promote the latest album. Just look around at some of the people on these forums....

Anyway, those who truly love GN'R will get the idea why you should request the new songs at this point.
