I love IRS, Scraped, Shackler's, etc.  But those 3 in particular seem to get a lot of hate for some reason.

I don't hate IRS, I just don't like it.
Also, I never heard Guns can't rock and their ballads are better... strange quote. Guns is fucking one of the bands that rock the most! Just look at their concerts

Chinese Democracy's a good choice.
Shackler's Revenge, Scraped have both not got the love they deserve from time to time, same with Riad. Honestly, the only song I ever skip is Madagascar. I know people will think I'm a horrible human being for saying this, but I just don't like it as much as the other songs.

However, the song the constantly surprises me is Prostitute. I seem to find something new in it every time I listen to it. I don't think it can be overrated, so therefore, maybe it's the one that's underrated. You just can't say enough good about it!

I say Prositute is the most underrated song.  I know people like it, but I think it should be recognized as one of the great GNR ballads.

I also love Catcher

I'm actually astonished more people don't love "If The World".  It has gorgeous vocals and melodies from Axl, and Buckethead's acoustic guitar work and his electric solo are brilliant.

i'd say Riad and the Beduoins or Sorry.

Riad has some mind-blowing Robert Plant-esque singing from Axl and the guitar work is just frenetic. its full-on mayhem but it hasnt quite got its due from fans. I read though that it was appreciated on Rock Band and that's cool.  ok

Sorry is perfectly constructed. Some people have criticized the lyrics but I find them interesting and complex- there's anger but there's also determination, a level of sadness, a realism about the costs of battle. plus it has such a BEAUTIFULLLL guitar solo that I believe it ranks among the best GNR guitar solos of all time. the vocal delivery is controlled yet emotive and the way the song sounds is just amazing. the mixing is spectacular. just a brilliant song altogether.

IRS for sure, I just can't believe fans don't LOVE that song.  Axl just givin'er, especially last verse, how the fuck don't GNR fans dig that shit!!?  Huh   Especially the contrast in his voice, starting with a vulnerable weak and fragile tone building to the last verse when he goes balls out....fucking great.

This I Love...without question. But honestly, I chalk that up to a lack of a video/radio single. I think the band/label dropped the ball on this one. Sweet Child o' Mine made Appetite, and TIL could have done the same sales wise for CD.  Unfortunately, it still hasn't cracked mainstream radio, and there's no video to speak of; not just for this song, but the entire album.
