Iron Sheik

Eep. That could've been a scary meeting...

As far as I go, I don't think I've ever met anyone noteworthy. Though Tony Blair came to our town about 10 years ago and I managed to shake his hand and get his autograph. That could count as a 'meeting'. I'm not sure if we swapped many words....

On another note, having read the "broken toe" thread and subsequently hurting my own toe not long after, I would like to expect to go out tomorrow and meet Axl Rose at Tesco. yes

He was pretty cool, actually.  Quiet, but nice. Met him and Volkoff at the same time. Nikolai is a true gentleman.

Dizzy Reed (and Hookers N Blow)
Tommy Stinston
Bumblefoot
Jerry Orbach from Law & Order TV show

I don't know if this counts, but I kinda met Conan O'Brian.  I just didn't know who he was when I did hihi  I was heavily pregnant and had brought my dog to the vet's office.  There was a guy standing at the counter talking to the receptionists.  We saw each other and I politely said hi. After he left, everyone at the office started saying "I can't believe it, that was Conan O'Brian!"

That was about 10 years ago or so.  His parents lived nearby and he had come to visit.  One of his dogs came up lame on the beach.  The only thing I told him was "Watch out, my dog might have mange" as he walked by with his dog rofl
