That is sad, but he was found with a rope around his neck and genitals?  WTF?!?

Ok, since I read the article the first time, the language in it was changed.  It initially said "neck and genitals".  Now it says "neck and body".  Nice.

Old man, how is it that you hear these things?
Young man, how is it that you do not?"

That is sad news. I thought he was absolutely brilliant in Kill Bill 2.

This was really messed up and completely unexpected to hear. I enjoyed his films over the years. Actually I just watched "Kung Fu Killer" recently.

Rest in peace. Condolences to his family.

Yeah he was great in those movies.  I've never seen Kung Fu.  He was most recently in a bunch of "Yellow Book" commercials, playing off his Kung Fu fame.

RIP Dave.

Ok, yeah, it's sad.  I'm surprised no one here has discussed the whole autoerotic asphyxia thing here.  Do you really think he committed suicide?  I don't think he did.  I think it was a tragic accident that happened as a result of him, well, playin' around with himself, you know. He didn't fuckin' commit suicide.  What happened is a sad legacy to go down with.

Isn't that what they think happened to Michael Hutchence??

Yeah that's what happened to Hutchence.  I didn't realize that was a possibility with David, I just heard the suicide part.  Maybe I should've actually read the article.  Suicide does seem odd.  He's a successful guy, older.  Unless he had some medical problems we're unaware of and was in pain.  I just haven't heard of many 70 year olds committing suicide.

I agree. I think it was kinky sex gone wrong. He was in BANGKOK after all. He had a heart attack and some young underage prostitutes freaked and their pimp tried to make it look like a suicide since he was a famous American.

They're bringing up the "accidental suffocation" thing now.

Something weird happened. His manager is now saying there was "foul play" involved.

I wondered about that, myself. That maybe he was with a prostitute and she (or he, who knows) booked when he died.  I'm sure it will be investigated.  What a way to go.
