Gimme some more!

Hello everyone! In the past two months I was helping in a research about Axl's vocal range. Last week we found the note needed to induct Axl as a four octave and jowox - an YouTube user that makes videos about vocals - just uploaded the video on Axl.

Check it out:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Br75r3EKGbo

Please rate it 5 stars so that we get this video popular and rub it against the face of those who say Axl has lost his voice.

----------------------------------------------
P.S.: I'm posting this here instead of hiding it in another section so that everyone can see it and raise the view count. If the mods feel like moving it later to the proper section, that's ok, but just leave it here for a while!

Pretty interesting. I'll say he definately still has a great voice and one of the most unique ones in rock. I can't wait to see GNR live.

I saw that before.. there's a part 2 already out. Cool stuff...

What amazed me is how well the new songs mixed together with the old stuff. IMO, the drums were what made it really that different, but the guitars not how I expected. Smiley

Well said, the video DOES NOT have a 2nd part. I participated in the project and it was just put up yesterday by the user jowox on YouTube, he's the only one who does the "4 octave wonders" videos. It's not a fan video, the guy is an expert and he mesaures the vocals with a program so that we have a pretty accurate video made.

There can be a part two or an update in the current one if we find lower and higher notes from Axl.

It's tough to maintain enough stamina over a show to hit the note for note stuff he captures on recordings.  Live he's usually a different animal.

It's obvious to me from listening to CD that he had been working on higher range vocals more than the previous albums. He has such strong falsetto through the high tones.

Anyone I've talked to I've swore that they will never hear a more tightly mixed album vocally than CD.

yeah, that was kind of insane!

hihi it was just insane that some 'experts' insisted that he sung in fuckin 8 octaves. or even 10!

cdefgabcdefgabcdefgabcdefgabcdefgabcdefgabcdefgabcdefgabc!
puff puff.

It's not like the bigger in number, the better.

but his singing is better than ever.  beer

I remeber those 10 octaves comments! LOL! Like: beyond the frequency chart... Ok, being a fan is one thing, believing Axl is god is a whole different level of craziness!
