I didn't realize he was in Beautiful Creatures. Anthony Focx (Beautiful Creatures) was storing my guitar for me at his house a couple of years ago. Small world.

from what i have heard from him, he is more of a metal/shredder/teaser player than melodic/soulful/crisp player....

I pretty much just know him from the Sixx A.M. record, and I think his songwriting skills and his playing, as evident by that record, are great and I am curious to see what he'll do with GN'R, should he write and record with them in the future.

He sounds great there, and with Sixx AM, so this is exciting news...especially if they write some new material together - this guys def got talent.

PS - if DJ was wondering why BC never made it...perhaps that singer has something to do with it.

If this boys joined then something must be about to happen. I would love to see him bring an LA  sunset strip vibe to the live performance. Will anyone outside of us GnR heads even care whos playing guitar.

Many of us benn wondering if DJ is still in Sixx AM and I just noticed that in his myspace says hat he is in both bands, maybe is not too much goin on in GNR so he gonna have enough time to be in SixxAM also, u know, like the other band members that have to make theyr living playing at bars.

Sixx AM, I believe has a new album coming out.  But there don't appear to be any plans to tour, as they're not a part of Cruefest this year.  And that was decided well before the announcement of DJ to GNR.

I hope that Axl plans on keeping DJ around when they decide to make a new record and he's not just a touring replacement. Not that I don't want to see him live, but I think he offers so much talent as a guitarist and songwriter. I'd like to see what he could do with some of those unfinished songs Axl has laying around.

True with DJ now I think Axl wont just kick him out after the tour but DJ's gonna add something I think to all those unfinished songs.

I'd be fine with DJ long term.  He's got his own loyal following and he's written as many, if not more, hits as Robin has.  He certainly has him in writing credits.  Bucket I'd certainly welcome back, but I don't see that happening.
