Did my suggestion of showing up at work without pants and calmly asking her, "What, this isn't pantless Thursdays?" work?
Just wondering.

So I just got a new job as a waiter, and this girl started about the same time as me. I'm interested and want to ask her out, preferably when we see each other tonight. I know she's single and looking.
If she says no, I won't be too bent out of shape over it, but I would like to avoid being "that guy" at work. The place is low key and I know I wouldn't get in trouble, I just don't want to be the subject of gossip.
Thoughts?
Don't do it.

^Bandita, no problems here. Remember, the key word is "unwanted."
This whole "asking out a co-worker" thing got me thinking. I think I missed out on the opportunity to even try that. All the jobs I had before I met my wife had no females. No regrets though...when you find the right one, the rest don't matter!

cheer up gunnerOne. there're plenty of other fish in the ocean.

Hold your head high Gunner. Guaranteed there are other chicks who, when they hear about that, will be like, "Damn, I would have said yes!" (unfortunately, they'll probably look like Chris Farley in drag.) Just kidding, keep your head up kid. The right chick is out there.
