Anyone else a fan of this great metal band from Texas?
You all might probably know them from Freya, as it was in Guitar Hero 2. But they have some great stuff. I saw them open for Metallica and I thought they were great.
I'm digging Maiden, Mother & Crone and The Black River from the new album right now.

yeah they are good...I saw them open for Metallica but didnt really pay attention because I knew Metallica was somewhere in a 5 mile radius getting ready to go on....but I got some stuff of theirs off of Itunes...I like it, I also think I would like it even more if I did drugs....

Saw them opening for Metallica in Newcastle but I wasn't impressed, whether it was due to the sound mixing or them just having a bad night I don't know but I just wasn't keen on them.

They SOUND OK live, but they have no stage presence.
I would imagine that they aren't used to playing "in the round." It's hard enough playing on a regular stage, but to try and be spread out for the whole set is a different game altogether.
