Goddamn Jets chunked.......they just couldn't manage to stop that damned Wildcat offense. Both Henne and Sanchez looked great tonight and how about Edwards!!!

Jets should've won that one. They deserved to lose it though.

Hey, what are some thoughts about Rush Limbaugh being art of the owners group to potentially buy the Rams?! I hope it gets blocked. The guy is a racist jackass that has made comments about Michael J Fox's parkinson disease.
Buying the Rams may actually be a punishment at this point. So I say go ahead and let him

WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH THE NFL?!?!?!?!
Two games on my TV at the moment:
Pittsburgh (2-2) vs. Detroit (1-3)
and
Minnesota (4-0) vs. St. Louis (0-4)
Sorry, but those games suck balls. Nothing personal Axl4Prez, but I do not need to see your Vikes dismantle the Rams. The only way that game will be entertaining for out of market fans is if the Rams sign Albert Pujols to a one game contract, put him in as a punt returner, and then the Vikes refuse to punt to him, thus taking away his "big play" potential. Otherwise, this game is a turd.
Pittsburgh v. Detroit will do one of two things. Prove that Pittsburgh can beat a bad team or prove that they ARE a bad team.
On the other hand, there's a Cincy (3-1) vs. Baltimore (3-1) game that just begs to be watched. God forbid they put THAT on the tube.
Freedom, no offense taken! I was away at my in-laws this weekend. I was fortunate...sure, there was a shit game (Washington-Carolina) but on the other channel, I was able to watch Cincy-Baltimore. I watched the whole game and loved it! While I do root for Delaware's own Joe Flacco, I like to root for the underdog as well. It was just a great game to watch from beginning to end! Ray Lewis' cheap shot on Ochocinco killed the Ravens. Palmer actually hit Coates for what would have been the game-winning td a play before Palmer's game-winning throw to Caldwell sealed the deal.
While I love my Vikes, watching them gut the fucking Rams would have been pointless.
Congrats to your Colts! Peyton looks unstoppable.
I am officially worried with the Ravens coming into Minnesota this week with a 2-game losing streak. Scary game.

Pittsburgh, because it's in Pittsburgh and a good D will make a gunslinger QB pay. Wanna know why Minnesota is lossless? Favre has only two picks. In his 17 years from 1992-2008, Favre averaged 18 picks per season. Over one per game. This year he has two, in six games. His passer rating is a full ten points higher than it was in his best year. Something's gotta give, and a tough road game is just what the doctor ordered to bring down those numbers. I'm not saying he can't or won't have a great season. He could easily have 30-35 TDs and over 4000 yards. But the guy throws picks and I expect him to fall to earth a little in, at least, that department.

Minnesota will keep it close but Pitt will win late 24-21
no collapse by Favre, Pitt is at home, Polamalu back, they will do enough to grit it out and then we get to hear shitty sports writers talk about how Favre all of a sudden sucks and is old cause he lost 1 fucking game.

The Browns will actually do great this week.
When the Browns are on their bye week, we're ALL winners.

That Sunday night game between the Eagles and Giants featured the worst officiating I've ever seen. It seems like there was a flag after every single play, often on bullshit. One that definitely stands out is when Asante Samuel was flagged for unsportsman like conduct for saying something to Barber, although he smiled at Barber, who smiled back, then helped him up and both of them patted each other on the helmet. Yeah, that's unsportsmanlike.
The Eagles didn't play great, but they played well enough to win. I watched the game with some of my friends who aren't Eagles fans, and even they thought the Eagles were getting fucked. I know Dallas had a shitload of penalties, too, but it seems like the ones the Eagles had were much more damaging.
And there's no way in hell McNabb didn't get a first down on that fourth-and-inches play. That goddamn dumbass ref spotted the ball behind the line of scrimmage, even though it was obvious McNabb went forward.

way to go Eagles! same old bullshit - slow start offensively, penalties, short-yardage problems, questionable coaching decisions, etc.
we'll see if they can sneak into the playoffs again this year. it's gonna be interesting to see what kind of extension Reid gets.
