Guns n? Roses Planning Summer Stadium Tour

You know what I mean about the first tour since X with GnR.  The 02 tour tour went down in flames before it even began because of poor sales.  Quit splitting hairs.

The eagles had the same situation back in 1994 and they couldn't find an arena they couldn't sell out.

Of course the labels are all about money.  I never said otherwise.  But other bands have been able to stay true to themselves and remain relevant i.e. Wilco, Radiohead.  NIN released albums at a steady pace.  Just because you didn't think they matched up with the Spiral album doesn't mean that is a fact.  Year Zero was awesome.

and its not like that gnr fans hoped to officially hear the album for all the years but then to experience having similar silence like 2003-2005 soon after the release.....

I think Axl is getting everything ready weather its the tour or the album thats taking time who knows but I still think the next move GN'R is gonna take will be fucking HUGE!!!!!!

that was awesome, yes, never talked bad about that move. but it was last year, right now we have beginning september'09 still discussing in a topic called
"Guns n? Roses Planning Summer Stadium Tour" which didnt happen in 09. the lack of information this year after all the input and waiting, delaying, hoping and CD being THE Axl comeback cant be considered good news. some frequent movement or information, even from Beta and Fernando, is lacking - but still that "little more" would be easy to do as being proved by other artists and even Axl himself (answering online from his home). well, hope dies at last, right?

I don't think much has changed since 02.  Sure, hardcore fans will be at the show but that's not going to sell out a 20-30k stadium.  The general public doesn't care about GnR anymore.  I hate to say it but it's true.

What's wrong with the Eagles example.  They disbanded for several years and then got it back together for great success, unlike GnR.  You can't argue the point being made so you attack the example.  Nice!!

If it's done or not doesn't matter. Now isn't the time to put it out. Doesn't pay to put it out tell there is a push for the cd or a tour is in the works. Otherwise the video will be a waste. Yes we want to see it, but it will never get any airplay without something going on.
