Warm up shows should be coming soon, Then over seas to do big shows. And then come back and do shows in the U.S. late summer into fall and winter. And if that all goes well Stadium shows in U.S. in 2010.

When I heard the that they were rehearsing late winter / early spring for a "summer" tour, the summer of 2010 was the first thing that popped into my mind.

I thought that was obvious to everyone.

Oh C'mon... no you didnt think 2010.  It doesnt take bands a year and a half to rehearse..   And they certainly don't plan summer tours a year in a half in advance if that news were true. Fact is, its just another thing you can add to the list of things that haven't come true in the GNR world.  Its just the way it is...don't start making excuses people.  I just wish some things never would get out so we would stop being led on.  Or, that even Axl himself wouldn't say things sometimes.  It doesn't really bother me..but rumors,  speculation, and build up happens when shit gets let out.  Kinda like in his on-line interview when Axl stated that another album might be out next year...       Or how a "better" video would be coming out.  If your band has a history of having a messed up timetable for whatever reason...it might be best just to keep things in until something is finalized.  Which for the most part, i think he does.  But like i said earlier, the information gets leaked by someone else.  I know no other band where so many plans and rumors don't come true.

Just to be fair, Axl never said that there would be a tour this year. In fact, when asked during the chats, he said "no plans", but there were offers. I wouldn't exactly call that plans or promises that were broken.

I personally don't put much stock in anything that Richard or BBF have to say. I wouldn't be surprised if they were just as clueless as we are at this point. If it happens, I'm sure they'll be there. But past circumstances should tell you that they are usually not the most accurate with their information.

They wouldn't be rehearsing unless an imminent tour was in the works.
