The beginning is already a mess and funny.  But I think Axl wanted it that way.

To me the intro is great.. It doesn't sound funny at all.. for me it was just surprising, kind of like "what the hell?", no idea where its going to head.. and then it just slams into that great riff..

They don't necessarily have to do that vocal intro live either.. or they can just play back the vocal tracks off the studio version and the band then picks up the song..

Maybe in Europe on the festival circuit. IMO, don't see it happening elsewhere.

I wouldn't expect to hear anything concrete until later this month or sometime in May at the very earliest.  IF the Best Buy exclusive is in fact a 6 month deal, then that would run out at the end of May.  You'd think they'd make some sort of a push when the CD is made available at all media outlets at that time.  But who knows really, after all this time we've learned not to make any assumptions.
