I like the Eminem idea.

Maybe the new Alice in Chains or Blind Melon.

Hot Leg, Stone Gods, or Priestess would be cool...and a good fit.

Eminem is far too big to open for Guns, or anyone for that matter.

Does he tour anymore?

I would love to see him.

I say no opening band let GNR perform for a 2hrs and play as much of the new stuff live that hasnt been played. But if there is an opening band it will be some one much lesser known especially if its only for a couple of shows what bands gonna go for what is at this point maybe 3 shows. If it were a longer tour then yes im sure alot of bands would jump at the chance to open. And people stop with bands like Aerosmith they are too big of a band to ever open for GNR at this stage in both bands careers. I love the new GNR stuff but i dont know if they have the credibility yet to have as big a band or close to as big as GNR opening up for em.

They would have to be co-headliners.  It could happen.

I actually really like Eminem, and think it wouldn't be a bad fit. However, I have seen him live twice, and he sucks ass live.

Whoever said Dope had a good idea, while I really like No Regrets, I still think Life was their best.

Personally for the Uk / Europe tour I would love to See Guns headline with 2 of the following for the openers:

1st headliners 30min slot
The Enemy
Reverand and the Makers
Idlewild
Tokyo Police Club
Liam Finn

2nd headliners 1 hour slot
Manic Street Preachers (fans of the band based there early sound around original line up)
Chemical Brothers
Prodigy
New York Dolls
Kasabian
Editors

Personally, for upcoming  Japan shows I'd love to see

Mot?rhead

Ironically, Matt Scrotum is subbing on drums for their current tour since their regular drummer committed to a reality tv show.

I'd love to see Bucket open for Guns... and maybe have him come out with the band and do a guest solo or two.

pick from any of these for support slot

Airbourne
The answer
Black Stone cherry
Seb Bach
shinedown
Sixx AM (DJ can play both sets)
Stone Gods

that aint a lot to choose from. I went through my ipod (hence alphabetic order) and chose what i thought would be realistic choices....

take it for what it is..
