So who? I tell you, I saw Brian Adams last year and it was one of the best Rock show I have ever seen. I think a lot of people who grew up with GN'R also grew up with Bryan Adams, it was the same erea, late 80's/early 90's. Everybody knows him. Great artist and great music. He is very respected.
Yeah but people that grew up with GN'R had taste.

You know with a good amount of the newer stuff having a prog. element to it I wonder how a band like Dream Theater would be received with GNR? Though if you wanted to go for a more gritty rock vibe I think a band like Vains of Jenna could be cool. Or I know Extreme just put a new CD out last year that could be cool.

It would probably be too much "work" for the person opening but ..... ..... have the GNR guys (besides Axl) each take turns being the opening act with their solo material. Like one show Chris' SexTapes band could open ... the next show Tommy could bring in his band to do stuff from 'Village Gorilla Head' and Replacements' songs ... the next show Ron could bring in his band to do his 'Abnormal' songs ... and so on and so on. That would kill two birds with one stone: 1. The fans would get to better know each band member on his own merits. 2. The opening acts won't (hopefully) get booed off the stage.

I guess a Guns N Roses, Janes's Addiction, Faith No More tour would be asking too much?
At least we wouldn't have to wait until the afterlife to find out what heaven is like.

I heard Michelle Branch is a fan of GN'R, as well as Led Zeppelin and Queen. I have some of her albums and it's good. Beautifull voice. I don't know if she could open for Guns though, but I'd like to see a duet with Axl one day. She did a duet with Santana a while back and it was pretty good. It was even a Hit single from What I remember.

This is a really cool idea. Some years BLS played on Ozzfest then Zakk came back to play with Ozzy. Plus Sixx:AM was going the same thing last year on Ozzfest. It'd be cool to see.

Life Of Agony!!
Actually Life of Agony ( kick ass live) and Mastodon who's new album Crack the Skye is one of the best albums Ive heard in years. If any of you are fans of hard prog rock please do yourselves a favor and give it a listen.
