With Chinese Democracy out, Axl is playing new music to the audience, not the same old eighties stuff Baz has been playing.
Bach plays a lot of songs from the new album he put out not to long ago..

Black Crowes is a great idea. Steel Panther (Metal Skool, Danger Kitty) would be an awesome opening teaser. How about foo fighters? doubt dave would work with axl...but would be a good line-up.

Avenged Sevenfold would be a great opener. All their newer stuff (city of evil and later) have GnR influence painted all over them

If GNR want to make Stadium tour, would need a band as Van Halen alongside.

I believe it originated from here http://www.hitsdailydouble.com/news/rumormill.cgiSPREADING DEMOCRACY AROUND THE WORLD: Axl Rose intends to take the current lineup of Guns N? Roses out on a worldwide stadium tour this summer, industry insiders told rollingstone.com. ?Axl has been basically quiet, keeping out of the limelight for almost 15 years,? said Guns manager Irving Azoff in the news item. ?People think they know him, but they really only know what has been said about him by questionable people. He is a good guy and often misunderstood?he is a professional who has worked very hard to build and maintain a high creative standard for Guns N? Roses, which I support. We have some exciting things in the works this year for GNR, I?m looking forward to it.? Right on the heels of this news come unconfirmed reports about a co-headlining tour with GNR and fellow L.A. hard-rock icons Van Halen. If this pairing comes to pass, we?re betting it?ll move some serious ducats.

azzoff manages both gnr and vh. he's also Chairman and CEO of Ticketmaster Entertainment. plus apparently there was a rumour similar to this in 2001.

I wonder were they'd play in Ireland, we don't really have any stadiums except for Croke park. And Croke park are only allowed to have 4 gigs a year, which is usually really commercial pop acts, or billy joel and stuff. Any other venue couldn't really be classified as a stadium.

I would like to see Buckethead as an opening act. Then he could come out and jam with GNR for a few songs.

It would be interesting. I wonder if people would tolerate more than 10 minutes of show...

I fail to see the logic in having Van Halen tour with them; all it does is perpetuate the "has been" perception of GN'R. When they tour, they need to find an "up and coming" band to open (Black Keys or maybe just Dan Auerbach solo?) and then if they feel the need to co-headline with a big group; perhaps Aerosmith, U2, or maybe Metallica. I honestly don't see how they can sell out a stadium unless they tour with one of those three.

queensryche would be cool or maybe the darkness. That one way ticket to hell and back cd was great would like to see them live. they're not around anymore My bad i thought they were pretty cool though In that case I think you'd like Stone Gods (Dan Hawkins - Abit heavier but still very much rock) & Hot Leg (Justin Hawkins - Pretty much the same as The Darkness with there slogan "Man-Rock!").
