WHO WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE  THE OPENING ACT IN THE NEXT GNR TOUR?

I saw Papa Roach and Sebastian Bach opening on the last tour, and they were great!...was a great start and the people was happy with them.

Where do you see GN'R fit in on the bill if they're not the headliner?

There is a Norwegian band called Audrey Horne, that i think would fith very very well opening for Guns N Roses. They toured Europe with Enslaved last year. Hmm.. and maybe Mastodon. Hmmm Isis.. the problem is that im not sure if the majority of gnr fans are Isis fans.. lol

I think Australia and NZ got the best line up of the entire tour with Rose Tattoo and Bach. But I would also love to see Airbourne or The Angels open for Guns.

Faith no More is reuniting...they would be an awesome opener.

Priestess would be a cool one, too.  Maybe Justin Hawkins new band.

I saw BFMV, Papa Roach, and Baz during 2006 with GNR. I would like to see Airborne also, and Weezer

Saw GnR/Metallica on tour together in the 90's.  Faith no More opened.  It was horrible.  (Not Metallica/Gnr) Probably just the reaction here, but everyone just wanted to get on to Metallica and Guns.  I actually felt kinda sorry for them.   Everyone was just yelling for them to get off the stage!

A co-headling bill with Guns and Muse would be amazing.

and now that GNRs manager said they will tour this summer and they will do stadiums I think the will need a good Opening band who can bring fans and sell tickets, so I think maybe Stone Temple Pilots (maybe Scott and Axl can work out theyr diferences), or maybe Linkin Park.

Avenged Sevenfold, Kings of Leon, or Shiny Toy Guns.  Or they could just open for Metallica.

No offense to you, but I hate how people keep saying they should open for Metallica. GNR's catalogue is as good (and Better) than it was when Metallica opened for them. A band that has the hits GNR has should not open. Nevermind that I think they put on a show that's tough to beat. I get why people say that about Metallica, looking at the success of Death Magnetic, but to me then it just shouldn't happen. There are a handful of bands so big that it would be weird for them to open for GNR, so just scratch those.
Cause I wouldn't want to see GNR open for anyone but the Beatles.

I was joking about Metallica because of all the discussion over the last month. My other suggestions were serious though.  I would just like to see them have a newer, yet somewhat established act who is on the rise with a few hits also.  Not a holdover from the days when GNR were more successful.   However, Metallica never opened for GnR. They co-headlined.  And GnR would be extremely lucky to co-headline with Metallica again. But it wont happen.

Not sure who I would pick. GNR fans are always the hardest on opening acts. I really like Baz. Sevenfold would be cool.

Just bring back Baz and Rose Tattoo,
Angry Anderson just keeps getting better and better with age
(like Baz and Axl) ,  keep it the same, they were great opening acts.

With the "stadium tour" on the horizon, I'd really like to see a "festival" of sorts. If I got my wish I'd want any or all of these bands on the billl:

Theory Of A Deadman
Buckcherry
Papa Roach
Saving Abel
Shinedown
3 Doors Down

any or all of those bands in any order followed by

GUNS
N'
ROSES

I love MUSE but they still are no where near the GNR atmosphere. MUSE is one of my fav bands... but they're not co-healining equals.

I hated Papa Roach... lame songs and grew tired of all those damn power chords. Hope to gawd they are no where near the next batch of shows...

I'd love to see Alter Bridge. They have a great singer in Myles, and have pretty good songs.

Sorry i missed the humor... i need to sleep more often.
And yeah Metallica and GNR co-headlined in 92, i shouldn't have said "opened." My point was just that i can't imagine Axl going on stage before someone else, and I wouldn't want to. I agree with you about your more serious suggestions, but for a stadium tour they might want someone more established.
