It's obvious that Ron is in LA working with GN'R in some capacity, as we know from Nick Sterling's visit with the band, or some members of the band.  What do you think they are up to right now?  Putting some new touches on the follow-up to CD in the studio?  Practicing new songs together as a band for a possible tour?  Axl mentioned in his recent interview that Brain has been in touch with the band in the studio and through his home, which to me gives more inisght into what could be going on.  It's also a given that Axl probably would not want to divulge all the bands future plans and spoil all the fun announcements that are to come, which is why he didnt spill his guts in the new interview.

This is all purely speculation, but that's the fun of it, especially right now when fans are acting glum for no good reasons.  What are your thoughts on what the band is up to right now?

God only knows....judging by Axl's comments it doesnt seem like a new album is on its way any time soon, so hopefully rehearsing for a tour, finalising finck and brain's position and chatting with tour promoters

I agree.  You never know what they may be planning for this upcoming tour.  Axl himself expressed interest in playing Estranged and Civil War live again, but also said that he would be putting a large focus on playing the new material as well.  These are all complicated songs and would take time for the band to perfect before unveiling them live.  My guess is that this is what is being worked on right now.

We shouldnt be glum. We just got an absolute masterpiece of an album.

Enjoy it and whatever is ahead!  ok

I think Ron is sightseeing and eating.

Maybe not in that order.

Putting together a DVD of live footage?

Axl said there's no plans for that in the works....

Which sucks, if he's not gonna be touring for a while, at least give us SOMETHING live-wise, the HOB show or an 06 show would be great

Only in the trailer so far, and an old NIN song at that. Here's hoping GNR gets a run... Smiley

What does Axl know, he's headlining in Europe this summer and even Beta doesn't know it.   hihi  And if someone could switch him over to Lucky Charms because I can tell you those Cheerios have been pissed in.

All kidding aside, whatever they are up to, they are obligated to put people to work.  The world economy sucks, people need jobs and GNR is an employer.  Time to do to step up to the plate and get folks working.
