It's is amazing how deeply the release of Chinese Democracy changed the world. It feels like GN'R never broke up and alternative music never even happened. Everywhere I look I see Axl and Guns N' Roses.

Me too. I'd love to see a BD version so I could hear it completely uncompressed I couldn't imagine what else I'd hear!

what's amazing is that it'sbeen 3 months and still no "monumental campaign". it makes me wonder why a record label and a huge chain of electronics stores couldn't/wouldn't promote this great album in any way!

Yea, I am on this train. Every time I listen to this I feel so triumphant. It is very inspirational. The fact this actually did come out, against so many dickfaces giving me their bullshit about Axl. Most importantly it is really about as close to perfection as maybe any album has ever come to it. I haven't been this way about an album since I discovered the Beatles. The music is becoming such an important part of the fabric of my being.
Great great shit. Everyday I gravitate to the things that make me happy. And listening to Chinese Democracy just makes me happy.

If i could imagine any album, it would sound an awful lot like Chinese Democracy.
3 months in and this gets played every day. It's not the only thing i listen to like it was at first, but not a day goes by that i don't listen to it in entirety several times.

Unfortunately, for me CD has not aged very well. In the beginning it got me really excited and couldn't get enough of it. But after a month or so it got old really fast. Actually I haven't listened to it in the past 50 days at all. However, I hope that after some time I will listen to it again and "re-discover" it .

I love this album, but have begun to slow down my listening habits. Trying not to prematurely burn out on it.

Well, it's certainly a good album - I still listen to most of the songs fairly often (the last half of the album, not so much). I don't think I've really changed my mind about much, there's still some songs I don't think should have been on there, I still think it's too long, and I still think that the best songs on it are brilliant beyond description (bar the first wee bit of Street of Dreams).
