Newlywed Fergie and her Black Eyed Peas bandmates rocked in L.A. Thursday night for a good cause.

Rihanna, guitarist Slash and other stars joined the Peas at the 5th Annual Black Eyed Peas Peapod Foundation benefit concert.

The Peapod Foundation is dedicated to encouraging social change by uniting people, especially children, through music.

The star-studded concert was presented by Adobe Youth Voices, a global philanthropic program which strives to bring digital and multimedia tools and training to students and educators.

And the song Cold play won all the grammys for is a rip off of a Joe Satriani tune.

SLASH Performs With FERGIE, Talks GUNS N' ROSES; Video Available - Feb. 11, 2009

Former GUNS N' ROSES and current VELVET REVOLVER guitarist Slash took part in the fifth annual Black Eyed Peas Peapod Foundation benefit concert on February 5, 2009 in Los Angeles, California.

Fan-filmed video footage of the performance can be viewed below. A short interview with Slash about the event is available at ETonline.com (Slash appears around the 2:15 mark). Check out photos from Wire Image.

The Peapod Foundation is dedicated to encouraging social change by uniting people, especially children, through music.

The star-studded concert was presented by Adobe Youth Voices, a global philanthropic program which strives to bring digital and multimedia tools and training to students and educators.

In other news, Maximo TV interviewed Slash at Russell Simmons' first annual "Salute to Grammy Award Nominees" red-carpet event at a private residence in Beverly Hills, California on February 8, 2009. The short chat can be seen below.

Was the 'interviewer' at the Simmons place one of those bah-bah-booey jokers, or is he really that out of touch?  Either way you could see that Slash was NOT amused...but handled it well.   hihi
