Ha Ha! Tabbing Buckethead's guitar solos would be insane.  They would have to come up with a new symbol for when he is pushing the kill switch button.
You have to imagine someone is out there working it out.

Do these books contain all the songs from AFD, UYI, Lies and TSI?

I have all of the GN'R Guitar Tab books from back in the day  ok  Even TSI tab book, which doesn't have the tab to the two songs "Ain't It Fun" and "Attitude"  Sad Why I don't know, only that maybe copy right BS or something, but I do wish that they would put out a Guitar Tab book for the Chinese Democracy album  yes
I keep looking and hoping  Wink

Judging by Brain's description of the drum transcription of "There Was A Time" I'd say were talking about a pretty monumental task if one were to transcribe ALL the guitars on ALL of Chinese Democracy.    confused   I don't envy the poor sap who gets stuck with that job.

i wonder how many guitarists that love GNR are gunna go get a kill switch installed cause fuck me it sounds fucken awesome. A tab book for GNR wouldnt be that hard to do with all the computer tab programs out now if they cant handle the onslaught of 3 guitars etc. but it will take a great player to pull off any BH solos...

Ehhh...

I'm not sure how many of you actually play an instrument, but most GNR songs are pretty basic in terms of chord structure (with exception of This I Love and the outro to November Rain).  There isn't a lot of augmented or multi-chord progressions going on.  Hell, it took me 2 minutes to tab out the first half of TWAT on piano.  Just learn the basic structure and the rest will fill itself in.  The guitar effects are just a matter of finding the right pedals and what not.

Cheers,

Andrew

If they fully tabbed out every guitar part for every song on Chinese Democracy, the book would be about 1,000 pages long... but well worth the effort.
