If the Yankees play like this the next 3 games the Angels are gonna die fast and quiet. They made it look easy tonight.

Don't get ahead of yourself now there Tim. The Yanks looked great tonight, no doubt! But the Angels are a very dangerous team -- if AJ puts them away next game, Yanks still need two more. Taking 2/3 out in LA/Anaheim is gonna be tough.

Looked real good but got a tough road ahead!

I know its gonna be tough. That's why i said if. If AJ wins tomorrow i like our chances with a proven winner in Pettitte on the mound in Anaheim. I expect Anaheim to be better defensively tomorrow too. That was not like them at all.

phils gave that game away. souble play and a walk with the bases loaded. pedro only threw 87 pitches and was unhittable.

yanks were dominant. angels never had a prayer in that game.

watched the phils at a bar so didn't hear the announcers much. my problem is comcast - you basically have 3 options for your box...digital, HD, and HD with tivo. i believe all 3 have different delays, and i believe all 3 are at least a second off from the phils local radio broadcast (which i would love to listen to).

anyway, 2 more games listening to those awful announcers, and then i'm going to game 5 wednesday night!

Yanks looked great, I look for them to keep it up today and go to Anaheim up 2 zilch.

Phils let one get away, a very tough loss - that series could go the distance.

On the announcer front, I didn't get any anti Yank sentiment from the Fox guys last night.

For some reason, Tim McCarver has always talked 'anti-Yankees'.  Which is kinda weird cause back in the day I seem to remember him and Reggie being good friends.

He also talks anti-smart fairly regularly.

This team reminds me so much of the late 90's teams. They just never give up and believe they will win and expect to.

Here's a question for everyone. If the yankees can manage to go up 3-0 with Pettitte on the mound do you still bring Sabathia back on short rest? Or do you give the ball to Gaudin and Sabathia on regular rest if needed?

What a freaking game.

Announcers sucked, I agree.

A-rod, once again, super clutch.

On C.C., I think if they're up 3-0, the still pitch him on 3 days rest.  Why, you ask?  Because I think they've learned, from '04, what NOT to do when up 3-0.  Can't take your foot off the gas or off the other teams jugular.
