Party to the cd CD
«

Warning, this is a nonsense topic delete at will:
Has anyone have any good party memories listening to Chinese yet?
I myself haven't really had the time, opportunity, to really party to it. I miss that. I mean, Rhiad is such a song you just want to mosh about to and tear your apartment apart.
Experiences anyone?
While listening to it on eve of release I apparently splashed my dick in to my girlfriends plate of macaroni and ketchup. But I can't remeber during whitch song

Not exactly a party, but the Russians in the row behind me were partying while I was listening to the album on my iPod.
It was on a flight from New York to Amsterdam and they partied a bit too much. They got warned by the flight attendants and their vodka was confiscated.....

I'm kinda frustraded with this. But it's the work( I have to work every other weekend) and now the holidays. Just now I'm listening to the album and sippin on some gl?hwein and are on my way to some nice cozy event. Not to rock n' roll. I just want to go to a huge party, take over the stereo and blast this fuckin masterpiece! Or even better hearing at a club and just rock out! Not much good clubs for that where I live

My brother had the same thing happen last year from Houston to London. Of course he didn't have CD though.
Tomorrow night I'm having a dinner party and plan on playing CD throughout the night. Sound weird? I don't think so. I've played CD quietly as background music and it really works well. Works better LOUD, but can't really do that in this situation.

Truer words have never been said. No joke, I was flying one night and listened to CD, totally broke down fell to my knees and said, "This is so good."
... and it is. I will be partying to Chinese Democracy this weekend.

That's awesome! Yeah, I pretty much started smoking again just to hear this album the way God intended it!
Wish I could do the same this weekend, but unfortunately I have too many responsibilities in preparation for Christmas next week. I'm sure the next weekend I'll be devoting a good portion of the weekend to listening though!

I had a listening party the Friday night before the release and it was pretty well received. Though I must admit we all had WAY too much to drink and I honestly don't remember it all that clearly. Since it's release whenever people come over to hang out I'll pop in the CD and play it a few times. I haven't gotten any complaints or, "oh this again", so that's a good sign. Although I also haven't gotten any, "this is awesome". People say they like a few songs, but I think they're a little afraid to say they like/dislike because they know what a big fan I am.

Love your sentiments. But, ask yourself first, "Why do I believe there is a god?" All I know is it was put on this earth for you and for me. Its nature. It is how nature intended it.
... I love nature.

Had a couple of sing-alongs to it with my band. If anyone else is trying this, I'd recommend you're nicely toasted by the opening of Scraped. Try harmonizing that choir of Axl's with 3 or more of you. Good times.

That's cool man! It's not really the appropriate place to go into detail, but I believe there is a God because I believe the historical evidence supports the notion that Jesus Christ in fact rose from the dead.
In any case, we our allowed, by the grace of God or nature to enjoy the benefits of nature, as well as the creations of man! It's a wonderful thing, and I am terribly happy to listen to this music.
