An open forum interview with Axl straight to the people who care. Not filtered through the distorted channels of journalists out to make a name for themselves or to settle a score.

The most brilliant PR move I have seen since since Elvis's gold suit.

Thank you, Axl!

By the way, feel free to delete this thread if it is deemed a waste of space...I just wanted to say what I said without cluttering up the actual "interview" topic...

Good day/night to be a GN'R fan, though.

I hope this doesn't get deleted either. I was thinking of a "Thank You" thread of sorts myself.

Awesome move Axl. Thanks and I hope you can do it again soon.

It was great of Axl to give that time to the fans and to answer the questions so candidly. Not much else to say but thanks! Hope he does it again sometime.

There's a reason why i idolize this person. It's because of things like this. He just does whatever he wants and what nobody expects. Axl is my God. I fucking love you. Thank you for everything you've given me in my last 17 years of my life. Thank you Axl

You exactly wrote what I would say. This whole issue feels just unreal and amazing. Kudos to Axl! What a great day to be a Guns N' Roses fan!!!

I have to agree, that was just fuckin' awesome!!
Thank you Axl, for this amazing record called Chinese Democracy and for the great concert in Prague (2006, first row, with Izzy!)!
I hope you will get back to Germany soon (maybe one of the big summer festivals?), we miss you all!

I agree it was really wonderful for Axl to do this.  Too bad I missed it, but at least I can still read it.  I know a lot of us have just wanted to hear (figuratively) him speak about CD in his own words.
