For all these years it's seemed that Axl is the hardest person to get close to, to simply meet or ask a question. By all means this guy has the right to his privacy, but to do this really shows what a normal person he really is.

I completely agree, I'm saying "seems" normal from an outsiders perspective. It's easy to paint a picture of someone you don't know from what everyone says, until you meet the person (which is kind of what happened last night). This is a normal trait of any human to have.

Thanks to Mr Rose....at the end of the day man....this is all we wanted...i'm glad it finally happened...

on a side note, that poster at MYGNR who sparked the whole fiasco with Fernando insults is a real fucking idiot....i understand negative comments and a healthy debate, but he really went overboard at times with his shit....and the argument wasn't that good either...

on the other hand, i'm kind of glad he did, as that did get Axl in front of his PC and ready to bash this out....so, to the rude cunt...uhm....thanks, i suppose....

Yeah, well, I'm one of 'em.   

You know, the guy rarely if ever gives interviews.  Maybe he just feels burned from past experiences - who knows why.  There's been a lot of whine going around that he hasn't given interviews to help promote CD.  But then, when he does decide to answer questions, he does it here & at mygnr.  I think that's pretty awesome!     

Oh, and I don't think it was a PR move - I think it just happened.
